Mabi Morphing Pets (First Mabinogi Post)

Today was the release of the new Morphing pets on Mabinogi’s NA server.  Morphing pets are simply normal pets that transform under certain conditions to take on a humanoid form. The big catch of this is the ability for these pets to use windmill in this human like form. Nexon released 3 morphing pets today.  The Black Wolf which transforms into a werewolf at night in game.  This is the one I chose, its attack power is the strongest of the new pets and has the most inventory room to carry my supplies.

The Persian is one of the other new pets released today which transforms during the day to a cat…human…thing…its kinda cute in a way.  Like the werewolf its transform relies solely on the time of day in game. I bought my gf some NX cash (Nexon Cash bought with real money used to get premium items) and she bought the Persian for herself.  Did not get any screens with her and it summoned

Last but not least is the Hamster.  Its transform is the most interesting to me.  It is able to transform any time of the day as long as its hunger level is over 95% meaning in theory an unlimited transform time.  Out of all 3 of the pets this one seems to be the most popular.  I am not sure if it is because of the cheap cost in NX or the transform circumstance.  Either way I have seen more of these type than any other.

K-ON! The Final Impression

Previously I posted my initial thoughts on the new series K-ON! I was a bit disappointed and wrote it off as a Haruhi rip off.   My opinion was greatly changed at the end of the first season.  I realize the season has been long ended but due to my blogging absence I wanted to say my piece a little late.

After getting deeper into the series I did see character types unfolding to a new level, saw important plots revealed and even earned a new character to add to my favorite list.  (Azusa =3)   The series K-ON! has made a pretty big hit on me and I really enjoy the songs from the show.  My favorite part, is the new Mio figure coming out by Alter.

My main hope is for Azusa though.  I cannot wait to see her XD.  For now I am going to preorder Mio she is too hard to pass up.  Going to order from my new figure store Kid Nemo.

Back Once Again

Errrr….yeah I stopped blogging once again.  How horrible of me.  I am going to blame it on me being busy with other things, but in truth I had been doing quite…nothing.  (Got sucked into MMO game).  Anyway, Kairu the Otaku is back again, going to attempt to get this old blog back up and running once more, taking it more into a casual approach.

A little update of whats been going on with me.  I turned 19 so I need to change that in my “About Me” section.  I graduated high school picked up a few small jobs.  Horrible experience they were.  Those readers still in high school…ENJOY IT!!!! Do not bitch about going to school one day you will really appreciate it.  God never thought I would say that.  I worked in a cotton factory for one week.  Yes I said cotton and yes I said factory…and yes I said one week.  It was a horrid experience of monotonous work that never ended popping large blisters (That are still peeling over 2 months later) and working long hours from 11 at night until 7 in the morning.  I ended up getting a job at a local computer store.  Surprisingly being a newly certified technician I only fixed….2 computers in my stay the rest of my time was cleaning.  They let me go after 4 weeks due to lack of business.

All that being said I recently acquired a job working at Wal-Mart, I am work the electronics section from 10 at night to 7 in the morning, part time.  Which to be truthful I have not officially started I got a call today to go in for orientation.  That is whats new with my little old life.  I did buy some figures finally (FINALLY!!!).  Quite awesome XD all I have to say.

Last but not least I am directing the blog in a MMO direction, the MMO game…Mabinogi.  I play it quite frequently (more than 8 hours a day) and have a lot to talk about.  Plus I want to be able to provide a more diverse blog to my readers since there are tons of more talented bloggers doing figure reviews and things of that nature.  Please welcome me back once more.  Hope it sticks this time.

My Desk

I was looking around other blogs that I have missed during my absence and noticed a flood of “My Desk” posts.  It originally started with the Danny Choo contest that Mitoko mentioned to me a while back.  I did not have much to post about today to be honest, so here is my small meager desk/home XD.

This is the overall scope of my desk.  I just got a new desk a month or so ago.  I had some money coming in from graduation and decided this would be a decent puchase.  I listen to a lot of music so I have a sourround sound system hooked up to it.  It was orginially bought for my TV, then I had the interesting idea to rig it up to my computer, awesome idea on my part XD.  Wish my desk had more figures and such like most otaku *Sigh* damn being poor.

One of my favorite action figures I have.  The Epyon from Gundam Wing, I used to collect Gundam action figures when I was little and he was one of my favorite ones along with my Zaku.  The Epyon’s leg came off and I know that is not the original sword, but I lost some pieces to the other one.

My other figures I have on my desk, I got more on my shelves above my bed, but this is my desk post, not my room XD.  I will post pics of my room here soon.  I got new stuff since the last people have seen it.

My first wallscroll ever, hangs above my desk you can see.  The small plastic Card Captors stand came from a DVD I bought from Dollar General O_o…I kinda thought that was weird and cool.  My Rurouni Kenshin poster hangs on next to my desk, above it is one of my Shana posters.

My bunny!!!!!! My girlfriend and I bought Skeleanimals representing each other in our relationship.  Her being the bunny, and me the cat.  She bought the bunny first, then sent it to me for me to keep.  Then I bought her the Kitty from KidNemo.  Thank you KidNemo for having it in stock, they are very hard to find it seems, most other places were sold out.

This is my 2nd desk I have in my room.  it is mainly used as a host for our internet.  My usb modem I got from Alltel is hooked up to my computer and set up as a shared connection to my router that broadcasts it wirelessly to the other computers in my house.  The plastic cabinents is where I keep my misc computer parts that I pulled from other computers over the years.

That is my workspace, and home I guess you can say.  Of course nothing fancy, not covered in figma like most otaku (though I wish it was XD) Hope you like ^^
