The Different People I meet and See

After the last few days I have sorta gotten to experience the real world a bit more. Me and my mom have actually gotten out of the house for once. It has kinda given me a chance to get away from being in front of computer and see reality again. Not to say I forgot about it or anything.

As most of you know I am in the USA…the southern part. Not the most desirable place for a rising otaku or as I like to think of myself. The other day though pulling out of my driveway we were passed by a old worn out camaro. At least I thought that’s what it was…it was a little too banged up to tell. The woman inside the car looked as if she had not showered in days and could be in a federal prison. I sorta laughed to myself but then was taken back since I was just on anime forum moments before. I finally got to see…where I live in a way. It disappointed me in a way.

Today I was sitting in the Mcdonalds parking lot as my mom went inside to get something for us to eat. I was in the car reading my manga. The dogs were in the backseat doing there thing. Then all of a sudden there is a tapping on the window. I looked and there was an elderly woman and a young boy looking in at me. Of course I had to roll down the window and talk. They wanted to pet my dogs. It was a bit odd. This had never really happened before. I mean people have looked and pointed at the dogs but none have had the guts to come and tap on the window.

They stood there a moment and pet the dogs asked me their names. The older woman even asked if I was in college (I am trying to grow my beard back after shaving it off…so I looked a bit scruffy) I told her no a high school student, a senior. She then asked if I was going to college. I told her yes, and then she went on about her grandson who is working in the computer field and all these other things. I sat listening in awe…still in shock she has this kind of….well…balls.

After she left…..I was still In shock. My mom had gotten in the car and asked if I knew the two people…I said no. She laughed at me and told me “I understand why you hate to sit in the car with the animals” That experience let me have a chance to see a set of whole new people. The other day seeing the scary looking criminal-like woman, and then today seeing this nice older woman who just wanted to talk and pet a dog.

It still makes me a bit sad living where I live…so far from the things I love, being that there is no anime.manga stores within driving distance. The closest I have is a Books A Million an hour and a half away….but I cannot complain. I know I am not the only one.

I have no idea why I decided to bore you with this…but it was very interesting to me that is all there is to it.

On other news though. I have been made the Super mod to a forum I attend Animal Wonders. It is a anime-like forum despite the name of it. I am good friends with most of the people there. I enjoy being there. That seems to be big news for me. I have power now haha jk. I also intend to order me ANOTHER wall scroll. I am starting to see how blank the walls in my room look, so I think a sexy Chi-Chobits wall scroll will be quite welcome ^_^

More Posters and a Wallscroll

If you had been reading some of my past entries you would know that I have been waiting on a Anime Castle order to come in.  Well today it finally did ^_^

Everything looks great and had to come through UPS due to the size of the wallscroll I suppose.  Everything is hung up on the walls already and makes me room look more…..anime-y XD.  Puts a whole new feel into the room.  As a bit of a game here I would like you to pick which you think my favorite item is out of this order ^_^

Just a Normal Day

It is nearing 1 in the morning here at the moment. I just got done with a long conversation with my girlfriend Michelle. It is so nice talking to her. She posts about me in her blog too by the way. In fact it is Anime Life on my little link section.

I woke up this morning and she was all that was on my mind. In fact woke up hugging a pillow and could have swore it was her from the dream I had O_o. (Not that kind of dream mind you) She even sent me some cute pictures of her and her little Kyo stuffed animal XD. It was so cute. I love seeing pictures of her. In fact I look forward to it, and even made my day much better.

On another note, my Anime Castle order has yet to shipped. I was hoping it would be in by Wednesday, but I guess not. They seem to take much longer on order processing than anything else. Either way though I do not mind the wait. Considering how much I just want the stuff I ordered.

Oh I did something fairly odd I guess you can say. I had to shave my dog O_o. My mom has a thing for keeping the dogs hair cut for the hot summer months, but she also likes to save money buy shaving the dogs ourselves. Seems I am the little dog holder/chew toy while she shaves them. The worst part is that when I picked the dog up to get her underside/belly and she kicked me below the belt a few times. Then my mom gets mad at ME…and sadly I do not even remember what it was about haha.

I am getting sleepy now. My fingers are beginning to hurt a lot too. See the thing is that even though I may not be online all day I am on the computer doing things, so at the end of the day my fingers tend to get really tired haha. I also need to wake up and work on my anniversary present. It is mine and Michelle’s 2 month anniversary on the 8th and I am really excited. I got something in mind to give her. Though it takes a TON of work XD. It will all be worth it I think. Anything that makes her happy is worth it.

Gah I also ran out of POCKY!!!! it has only been one day…..geez XD. Oh well ^_^

Wal-Mart Trip

Me and my mom took a trip over to Wal-Mart today.  It was something I was dreading.  I just recently shaved my beard off and was praying no one would see me XD.  I have had it so long it had become an enigma what I looked like without it.  I want to keep it that way haha.

The main reason I DID want to go was for some sort of poster putty.  The posters I picked up a few days ago from Anime Castle are currently on the wall using scotch tape.  I mean it works….but I know there is cheap scotch tape behind it.  I want something a bit better.  While I was there my mom suggested I look at the posters they have there.  I got to looking through, I was only really thinking they would have a Naruto one…..and I was right that is all they had.  Though they did have one with Itachi and Kisame ^_^.  I think Itachi is pretty cool with his fighting style especially in the games.

I got that and went about the grocery shopping with mom.  Then I got into the Asian food section and I spotted it.  POCKY!!!!.  I have never had any before to be honest.  Soon as I saw it I had to have it because I have seen it eaten in so many anime shows.I wanted to try it for myself ^_^.

It tastes….awesome XD.  I love the taste.  Though it is impossible to eat just one or two….or three O_o.

A bit of a personal side note about my wonderful girlfriend.  Today is her break day XD.  I hate Sundays because of that. I miss her so much.  Though it does give us much more to talk about on Monday.  Just wanted to mention I love her ^_^ and can’t wait till we can talk on Monday.  Love you Michelle ^_^

I keep pocky on my desk now ^_^.  It is nice to snack on when waiting for a page to load or something of the sort.
